One of the world's greatest assassins and mercenaries.
Reputation
Slade Wilson is a member of the idle rich, a charming, extremely athletic man known for his daring feats of adventure. There is no game he's not hunted, no mountain he's not climbed, no race he's not run, nothing he's not tried at least once. He is a man of Presence and money and is not afraid to use either to get what he desires. Little is known about his personal life.
Deathstroke is one of the deadliest people alive. He is one of the most skilled assassin's on the planet, faster, stronger, more ruthless then most, but where he shines is in completing the jobs no one else dares take. Deathstroke never fails his contract once taken, he always gets his man. Deathstroke also has rules, they are nonnegotiable and those seeking to hire him should know this ahead of time lest they fall on his bad side.
Only those with extremely high military clearance, who've dealt with him in the past, or extraordinary resources/skills (Bat-peeps) will know these men are one in the same.
Biography
Years of work with the Teams led Slade to become leader of the unit, and under his guidance their rate of completed 'impossible' missions became astronomical. He became a legend in the field. Suffering nearly lethal wounds in combat, Slade was given over to the lab that ran the Team Unit recovery. He's vague on the details, but his post procedure rehab was handled by a gorgeous woman named Adeline. Dangerous, smart, driven, lethal, she was tailor made for Slade and the pair fell in love.
Returning to duty Slade quickly realized he wasn't the same man. Things were so much easier for him now, faster, stronger, quicker in thought and mind, he was beyond human. The missions became more difficult still, and as his members were injured they would return from rehab with superhuman abilities all their own, assuming they survived 'rehab'.
Adeline and Slade were secretly married and soon they had a son. Slade's enhanced mind began to pick out patterns to their missions that no computer could track, and he started to unravel the knot of the Team Unit. Over time he was given advanced armor to augment him further, and his fondness for a sword was rewarded with an almost unbreakable Promethean blade. Still Slade dug, unbeknownst to his superiors. Until one day he discovered records deep in the locked down files of an entity initialed 'I.O.', records detailing the secret treatments they were giving his young son.
Slade secreted his way into Team HQ and shot his commanding officer in the head, attempting to kill John Lynch. Then setting charges on key points of the intel servers and security measures, he left, blowing the charges and crippling the Unit without destroying the HQ as a whole. It was his version of quitting his job. Shortly there after Deathstroke appeared on the open market as a mercenary and assassin for hire. His reputation became more then legend, it became myth. He had more children, and for a time things were good.
Times change however, and after his eldest son, codenamed Ravager, was taken from him in the middle of a job and killed by an unknown assailant, his marriage fell apart. Adeline, unable to cope with Slade's failure to save their son, left him, taking their daughter and youngest son with her. Having lost an eye in the attempt to save Grant, Deathstroke changed his armor's color composition and threw himself into his work whole heartedly. Now he is Deathstroke the Terminator, if you want someone dead that no one can kill, seek him out, and if the price is right the job will get done.

Character Details
Slade Wilson is a driven man, like many from broken homes and hard childhoods, he cannot accept failure. To the core of his being everything he does is driven by the /need/ to be the best. That said, there are lines he will not cross. He has a personal honor code that is iron clad and that will not break. Ever.
Driven, honorable (in his own way), and obsessed with perfection Slade is a man of may demons, and the only failure he's never been able to salvage is that of being a father and husband. He loves his family more then he can admit, sadly he's incapable of showing it.
Nth Metal Armor |
His armor is, to a certain degree, alive. Made from an unknown alloy of Nth metal and other substances, it is sturdy enough to protect him in extraordinary ways. He can withstand supernatural blows, shrug off large caliber gunfire, and even explosions. It even offers him strong resistances to magic and psychic attacks. Given time his armor repairs itself, requiring no maintenance on his part and tends to improve upon its own design without visible means, upgrading it's weak spots and adding various helpful information to the HUD. The nature of it is a mystery, even to him, but the more 'alive' it appears, the more concerned Slade becomes. |
Enhanced Senses |
Deathstroke's sense have been heighten to super human levels as well. He can hear what no person should be able to, see to incredibly small sizes or extraordinary distances. He can even smell better then a normal man. While he's not on par with some of the more bestial superhumans, he's not far behind. |
Enhanced Reflexes |
Slade was already a soldier of the highest caliber when his body was further enhanced, he meets or exceeds peak human conditioning in every way, however this is made most obvious in his speed. While he can run only slightly faster then an Olympic sprinter, his reaction time is clearly superhuman. He can catch arrows, track speedsters with his naked eye, and dodge bullets with relative ease. |
Enhanced Strength |
Slade is superhumanly strong, his body simply more dense with muscle and now built to handle the added strain. He is capable of punching through brick walls, bending thin steel with his hands, even flip a car with minimal strain though picking one up is beyond him. |
Enhanced Stamina |
Slade's body processes toxins more quickly and with almost perfect efficiency. He does not suffer fatigue the way an ordinary man can and as such can fight at peak performance for over a day without showing signs of strain. This gives him a strong resistance to all poisons or foreign toxins as well, this isn't an immunity but it's the next best thing. |
Healing Factor |
While unable to regenerate lost body parts not absolutely necessary to survival (his missing eye for instance), there is a good chance that Slade Wilson is now effectively immortal. He has ceased to visibly age for starters, though he could be killed by being blown to bits or decapitated, but shy of such massive trauma it's unlike he can die permanently. When suffering a fatal injury his body places him into a death like coma state and repairs any vitally damaged organs and restarts his heart once it's work is complete. This process takes about two to three days, and upon waking Slade is often a slavering mad man as his brain becomes oxygenated. Outside of fatal wounds his body simply heals injuries more quickly then others. This effect isn't visible to the naked eye, but cuts vanish by the end of the day, ligament and muscle damage by the end of the week, and even bones are healed before the month is out. |
Combat |
Deathstroke has been pushed from birth to be a warrior, he can't remember a time he was not in a battle. This constant fight for survival has made him one of the deadliest men alive. He's studied myriad martial arts and seamlessly converted them into a personal style that's efficient, brutal, and lethal, making him one of the premiere empty hand combatants in the world. But where he truly excels is with weapons. His command of a sword or staff ranks among a handful of truly elite warriors. |
Marksman |
Deathstroke is an excellent marksman, with skill great enough to warrant sniper title with any military on the planet. His enhanced nature makes him lethal at nearly any range with nearly any weapon. |
Tactics |
Before he became the man he is now, Slade was a tactical savant, he excelled at that facet of warfare more then any other. Then he was improved. He is without a doubt the greatest tactician alive. |
Arsenal |
Slade has access to nearly every sort of weapon used in warfare. Guns? Please. Flamethrower? What make and model do you need. Rocket launcher? Got two in the car. Gauss cannon? ? I think I have one in the shed, but really, who uses those anymore? Shy of nuclear weapons there is likely very little Slade could not get his hands on in short order, including vehicles. |
Sword |
The single most expensive piece of equipment that Deathstroke has ever had made for himself was his trademarked bastard-sword. It's Promethium, meaning it's edge never requires sharpening, it will never break or give (barring extraordinary inhuman measures), and is much a reflection of the man who uses it as anything else. |
Charisma |
Slade possesses that Alpha Male Something that so many try to project and so few truly possess. Unlike the 'Good Guys', Slade's charisma calls to the baser nature in others, often drawing in women who admire strength, confidence, and invulnerability while giving most lesser men a taste of primal 'fight or flight' responses. Either way, his presence is undeniable. |
Contacts |
Slade has worked for the US Government (and others) for decades, in the darkest corners of the blackest of ops. He knows people, people owe him favors, and every one of them fears the day he comes to collect because refusing him is never an option. |
Honor |
Slade is often referred to by those that don't know him as a man without redeeming qualities. They're wrong. His honor code is personal and iron clad. There are many rules, some vague and indistinct, but they are unyielding as the man himself. |
Peabody |
Peabody is Slade's personal techie and account manager. No one really knows he exists, which is fine by Wilson, and his genius is put to exceptional use creating whatever new toy Slade needs for his jobs. Peabody is a brilliant engineer and with Slade's funding has made truly amazing technology. Whatever Slade needs and doesn't have, Peabody can create for a price. |
Reputation |
Deathstroke takes his reputation very seriously. First as a soldier of the highest quality, now as the greatest mercenary the world knows. He painstakingly keeps his rep by pitting himself against insane odds and always coming out on top. This reputation acts as both advertisement and warning to those that would seek him out. |
Wealth |
Slade collects millions for his contracts, not thousands, and he's amassed a sizable fortune. While no billionaire, he's easily a member of the idle rich worth hundreds of millions of dollars. This opens doors. |
Worldly Man |
Given his job Slade's made sure to commit some things to memory. Widely traveled and working for various peoples and nations Slade's made sure to know every major economic language of note, and a couple of lesser known dialects he's picked up while on extended jobs and is an expert in dozens of cultures across the globe. |
Unfinished Business |
More then his other more pedestrians enemies, Slade has History with John Lynch and I.O., a history that one day will come back to haunt him, assuming of course he doesn't decide the time has come to haunt them first. |
Enemies |
Deathstroke has been a soldier for so long he has almost no allies and his enemies are countless. Nations he's helped topple, armies he's destroyed, secrets he's uncovered, lives he's ruined or taken. You'd be hard pressed to find a man with more people motivated to kill him. Very very dangerous people. |
Family |
The one thing Slade has ever failed at, despite his best efforts is being a good husband and Father. But he does try. He loves his family with a fervor that is primal in it's intensity and it may be his only true weakness. Woe be to the one who seeks to get to Slade through his family however, for he is not the only lethal threat hidden amid the ranks, merely the proficient. |
Wanted |
Deathstroke the Terminator is possibly the best known assassin or mercenary in the world. If there is a job no one else will take, he will. While this often provides him with an advantage, it also marks him among the 'heroic' types as a target to be taken in to face the legal system. He is something of a hunted man. |
Thanagarians |
Nth metal is sacred to the Thanagarians and the very /idea/ of it ending up in the hands of a human is sacrilege. Slade having the gall to have both alloyed it with lesser metals /and/ wear it is heresy of the highest order. While not a daily concern, a time will come when the Thanagarians come to Earth, and the armor will call to them. They will come for it. |
One Eye |
Technically he only possesses one eye, giving Slade a blindside that a truly skilled opponent could take advantage of. He's had over a decade to adjust to this weakness and given his skill and abilities that makes up for the loss rather well… But it's still a blind spot. It would take an exceptional person to make use of this weakness, but it is possible. Technically. |
Unrelenting |
Slade is simply put, an unstoppable force. Should he accept a contract, no matter how dangerous, how insane, so long as the contract is in effect and the client hasn't broken any of his rules, Slade will finish the contract. He doesn't quit. Ever. This can make an otherwise tactically brilliant man predictable. |
