Clint Barton has the ability to 'play with the big boys', as it were. His self-taught archery skills are virtually unrivaled, and his ability to think on his feet gives him that added advantage to stay alive and sometimes one step ahead.
Biography
Having lost his parents in a car accident when he was young, Clint and his brother Bernard (Barney) were sent to a foster home. That didn't last long, however, when the two ran away to join a circus. Carnival, really, by the name of Carson Carnival of Traveling Wonders. It was there that the young Clint learned the art of archery and acrobatics from a man who took specific interest in his training.
Clint was an eager student, but somewhere along the line he was also instilled with a streak of 'right'. He discovered his mentor was stealing from the carnival, and he would be the one to stop him. He had been offered half the take, but still the answer was 'no' and a fight ensued. Unlike most stories, this one doesn't end with the young Clint victorious, but rather, he was beaten and left for dead. His brother also left with this mentor in complete disbelief that his brother could be so stupid as to not take the cash!?
A few more years pass, and another stepped in to help teach Clint, and even offered to take the young man with him on a raid of a 'bad guys' hideout'. He went willingly, but after the fight, realized that his brother was within, and that he'd injured his brother critically. That.. that was the final straw, and Clint Barton struck out on his own.
Along the way, he's found himself on the 'good' side and sometimes the 'bad', but always on his terms.

| Archery |
| Clint is a natural archer, and is mostly a self-taught archery master. He can make his own bows, his own arrows, including his specialty arrows (though some do require some help). |
| Athleticism |
| He's in top, HUMAN peak physical form. This does include remarkable eyesight, however it is not above normal human range. He's simply trained to know what to look for. |
| Acrobatics |
| Having been raised in a carnival, Clint does have some ability to maneuver, to drop, roll, and shoot an arrow all at the same time. |

| Clint is fond of driving motorcycles, but can also fly aircraft and has been called upon to do it in the past. |

| This list includes but is not limited to knives, axes and boomerangs. He has also been known to improvise for weapons, and is equally as proficient. |

| While not as good with a gun as with a bow, Clint isn't too bad a shot. Same with a sword, but again… not his first weapon of choice. Unarmed combat, he can hold his own, thanks to training. Again, he much prefers distance. |

| Clint has contacts on the street after living and fighting in the gutter with them. Also can identify the 'tells' of the average punk when they're up to no good or when they're just bored. |
| Bow |
| Clint's bow is a specialized weapon. It can contract into something that can be easily hidden, only to reform as a futuristic-looking recurve with a push of a button. It has a master control for his quiver. At a 250# pull, there are very few who can draw it and use it effectively. |

| Not only a receptacle for arrows, but also where his piles remain, waiting to be dialed up and attached to shafting on demand. |

| Due to a mission, Clint is 80% deaf. He does have a corrective device (hearing aid), however. But without it, one will have to talk loudly, or just not bother. :) |

| Some may not trust him as he does have something of a rap sheet. Clint is always trying to be sure that when he does something good, that it doesn't go unnoticed. |

| Normal operation means that he is running with 'the big boys', and all he has is his wits and his basic, God-given abilities. As a result, he has to fight feelings of inadequacy. |
