Tool: Blog Entry Template

Welcome to your new blog.

Providing you've followed all the instructions in the initial blog template file, you should have things pretty well set, now. If not, check out these useful How To Articles:

Once you've gotten your main blog page all set up, it's time to get your entry template setup. It's very important that you use the template provided below to setup your Blog Entry Template. If you don't, you'll end up with entries that don't format properly across the site — and that would be a shame.

  1. Create a new page called '<blog>:_template', where <blog> is the name of your character, as seen in your blog page name: 'blog:<character>'. (I.e. <blog> = <character>.)

  2. Cut and paste the code in the code block below into your newly created _template page.

  3. Edit the code according to the instructions in the template.

  4. Save the _template and test it out by creating a new blog entry.

If it all works right, you should be up and running in no time. If you have questions, bug Mayhem. She'll be glad to help.
